Who we are

Finham Park is a popular, successful and exciting secondary comprehensive school of over 1,650 students, located in the south-west of Coventry. The school became an 'Outstanding' convertor to Academy status in August 2011 and became the lead and founding school in the 'Finham Park Multi-Academy Trust' in 2015. Consistently oversubscribed, the school attracts students from across the city.

Standards are consistently above national averages with a strong focus on restorative justice practices - a credit to the students, their families and our staff. We are a high-performing school that received 'World Class School' status in 2015, 2018, (International Accrediting World Class School in 2019) and 2021 and are also a National Support School with Leading Edge status.

Finham celebrates best ever summer results (2022)

Post-16

Following two years of disruption to schooling due to COVID-19, students and staff at Finham Park School are celebrating their best ever year of Post-16 results. We are delighted that 14% of all grades were A*s, 34% were A grades or higher and 63% were awarded at A*-B. Our average grade achieved across all A Level subjects is a B and across all BTEC subjects is a distinction, with both male and female students having done equally well.

Destinations

We are delighted that almost all of our students have obtained the grade required to move to their first-choice destination in September. Five of our students have been offered places at either Oxford or Cambridge universities and have achieved the grades needed to take them up. A record number of our students have applied to Russell Group universities, and 100% of students have been able to progress to the next stage of their education or to a job. We are incredibly proud of our students and wish them well for their next steps.

GCSE

Congratulations to the students of Finham Park School's class of 2022 on achieving an outstanding set of GCSE results!  Students sat external exams, for the first time since COVID-19, and this challenge cannot be underestimated given the disruption caused to their education.  81% of students achieved between a grade 4 and 9 in both English and Maths.  The average GCSE grade achieved by Finham Park students this year is a grade 5.7 with 84% of pupils studying the English Baccalaureate suite of qualifications.

We would like to thank both teachers and home for the support given to students in supporting our students to follow their chosen paths into Post-16 education.
